In this weekly reflection, the MK Dawah team confronts many curiosity-driven questions. People explore Islam to deepen their understanding. Someone who believes in the concept of one God, but because of their Christian religion, they have misconceptions about Jesus.
They compare Islamic and Christian beliefs and how Jesus is treated in Islam. A lady who gets positive energy from nature, and it helps her to move forward in life. She questioned, ” Who created everything in the world? Is there any supreme power that takes care of it?
Should we need a manual to spend our lives because we are complicated as human beings? A Sikh sister shared the beautiful story of how her grandfather’s sincere dua became part of her journey to Islam years later.
By listening and answering their queries with patience, we witness a Shahada in Kingston, Alhamdulillah.
May Allah keep our brother steadfast and make Islam the light of his heart. Make his journey a source of benefit for this life and the hereafter.
In CMK Dawah Mission, People Learn About The Oneness Of Allah
The foundation of faith in Islam is to believe in the oneness of Allah. You must have the belief that Allah is one, and he is the only worthy of worship. He has no partners, offspring, and is unique in His essence.
The concept our brother explained to a gentleman from India. His main focus was on the concept of God. He listened to us very carefully and humbly asked questions. Why do Muslim belive Allah is one?
How do all the signs around us point to his existence? We tell him that He is the sustainer and creator of all mankind and is free from human limitations. After the conversation, he left by taking a Quran copy. And said if he has any questions, he will come back again, InshaAllah.
The Prophet (S.A.W) said:
Islam is built upon five pillars: to testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger.
(Muslim 19)
How A Sister Grandfather’s Prayer Changed Her Fate
Dua is a powerful act of worship in Islam and is called “the weapon of the believer”. It is a direct act of communication between the creator and the human. It comforts the heart and brings clarity in difficult circumstances.
Dua can change the destiny, and our Sikh sister’s story who became Muslim is a beautiful reminder of it. She said when her grandfather was dying, he made a dua that maybe from his progeny someone will become Muslim.
Now the sister has become late after 3 generations. This is the power of dua in Islam. We are nothing. Everything happens with Allah’s will. Because He is the only one who loves us more than anyone else.
While making dua, you must have believe in your heart and Twakal in Allah’s Divine mercy.
What Led Two Christian Ladies To Take Quran In Bletchley?
Does nature prove God exists? Our brother spoke with a lady who was very interested in nature. How does nature work trees, sun, seasons, and sky? We explained to her that obviously, there’s an intelligent creator and designer behind it.
The sun follows a disciplined routine, and it never becomes early or late. The sky we see stands without any support. The trees, their ripened fruits, and blooming flowers, so who is behind all of them?
There is a supreme being who controls the whole universe and makes it with a purpose. Everything we use in our lives has an instruction manual, whether for a car, house, phone, or anything.
We also need a manual because, as human beings, we are far more complicated. The Quran is the manual for us from Allah SWT to tell us the purpose of life. She left by taking a Quran copy and willing with an open heart to read it and understand.
Islam and Christianity Beliefs Compared:
A Christian lady who was interested in knowing about Islam. Our MK team went through the whole Quran to give her an understanding of one God. She already believes in one God and everything. But her belief in Jesus was the son of God.
So, we explained to her how Jesus is regarded in Islam. What Quran say about Jesus? He is the son of Mary and a beloved Prophet of the Almighty. In Islam, God is only one Allah and no other is worthy of worship. She left by taking a copy of the Quran as well, Alahamdulillah.
The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger.

When Curiosity Led To Find Faith In Kingston
A white guy named Zadef came to our stall and asked for a Quran copy. One of our brothers on the stall probed him to say, ” Is there a reason for asking the Quran”? He said I just want to read it because I’m curious.
This is how beginners in the UK explore Islam out of curiosity. We also gave him some other books as well. If he had any questions, he could come back for clarification. He was very happy with that.
May Allah SWT guide his heart to the righteous path. Ameen
He’s Almost Muslim But Wanted To Read The Quran
Another brother came to us and asked for a Quran. When we asked him why do you want to read it. He said I met my father just a week ago, and he’s Muslim. He gave me Dawah to become a Muslim.
I’m almost Muslim, but I want to read the Quran and explore Islam from my perspective. Alhamdulillah, we gave him a Quran copy and some other material. And said if he had any questions, he can revisit us, InshaAllah.
He Didn’t Believe In Religion:
There was a Caribbean gentleman who said I don’t believe in any religion. During the conversation, when we delved in, it turned out he believes in Christianity. We packed it, and he said he will come back next week for another conversation.
Exploring Islam is a welcoming process for everyone, even for people who rejected religion. This is the mission of our grassroots dawah to spread the message of Islam. Answer every person’s questions and give them space to share their opinions without any judgmental lens.
