I believe in God, but I don’t have any religion. I acknowledge the message of Islam and Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, but I don’t convert. In this weekly Islamic outreach in Central Milton Keynes, many people come with the same questions.
They believe in one supreme power, but their journey of finding truth is not over. Many of them ask for a Quran on their own. People in CMK, Kingston, and Bltechley are in search of the true purpose of their lives.
Alhamdulillah, we distributed 22 Qurans and many leaflets for their understanding and further research. The literature books include Man in red underpants, Making sense of God, Love of God, God’s testimony and A gift from your neighbours.
Dive into the article to uncover stories behind these conversations.
In Central Milton Keynes, They Believe In One God
After setting up the stall, many MK Dawah team members were present there. So, brothers Hamza and Omar went over to Marks and Spencer’s. They had a deep conversation with a non-muslim couple exploring Islam.
First, when they offered them a Quran, the man said we can find it online and went away. After some time, he came back because he was waiting for something and asked brother Hamza, ” You guys were just offering the Quran copy”.
He said yes, then they sat down for a conversation. They believe in one God but don’t follow any religion. The lady, his partner, had a Christian background, but she had been ill for some time. She strayed away from her Christian beliefs and didn’t identify as Christian anymore.
Our brother educate them about the Oneness of God in Islam by using iERA’s GORAP method. Why do we need God’s revelations to guide us in this life and the hereafter? What is the purpose of life in Islam, and how should you spend it?
They were very open to understanding the Islamic beliefs as beginners. May Allah (SWT) illuminate their hearts with the light of Islam and show them the righteous path. Ameen
A Christian Lady Almost Ready To Convert To Islam:
People believe in Islam on the surface, but do not acknowledge it openly. It is due to social pressure in the area where they are living. The fear of life changes and of giving up the habits (haram) they don’t want.
They want to understand everything before embracing Islam. And a mistaken belief that they still hold some sins, so how can they take their shahada? But as humans, regardless of being Muslim or non-Muslim, we all commit sins.
But Allah is Al- Ghafor the most forgiving. So, don’t overthink and take a step of declaring your faith. These are the reasons that’s why the journey to Islam takes time.
When brother Rajhi had a conversation with the Christian lady, Sophie. She was very keen and said she saw us on many occasion. But today she decided to stop by and have a conversation.
She believed in the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) as well. But when we ask to take her shahada. She said I need a bit more time to read and do my research. We understand why she wait before taking shahada because we’ve seen this pattern before. She left with a Quran and said she would revisit us, InshaAllah.
People Ask By Themselves For Quran In Bletchley:
A 50-year-old person came over to our dawah store and requested a Quran copy. Brother Ansar had a one-to-one Dawah conversation with him. He listened very attentively, and other team members stood nearby.
Because it’s not wise for two people to go out with one person. The most effective method to do dawah in the UK is to stay back and listen to their conversation calmly. He said I’ll be back. Hopefully, we can have a productive conversation coming up soon with him.
And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear Allah.

One Pamphlet In Egypt Guided Him To Take A Quran In The UK
There was a man who came to have a free Quran because he was given a pamphlet in Egypt. Islamic outreach in Egypt sparked his interest in reading the Quran. And to understand the wisdom and guidance Islam offers.
It’s only Allah who can guide a heart. We are nothing without His mercy and guidance in conveying the message of Islam. May Al-Rahman put Barakah in our words and actions, making them a source of change in someone’s life. Ameen
A Christian Exploring Islam
Why do Muslims pray in Arabic? To maintain the original meaning of the Quranic words by leaving them unchanged. It shows the spiritual unity between them globally and following the sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
A brother who came up and said I want to come to the masjid to pray. Then start asking all these controversial questions. Why is Jesus not the Son of God in Islam? Our brother said in Islam, we have faith that Allah is the only worthy of worship. He has no partner or offspring and is unique in his attributions.
Jesus is the respected prophet of God and the son of Mary. After getting the answers to his questions, he took the Quran. And said he will read it and come back.
The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth.
Quran 5:55
In Kingston, An Individual Approached With Debating Mindset
A man came to our dawah stall, and when we spoke to him about the Quran and science. How scientific discoveries were mentioned in the Quran 1,400 years before modern science.
The Quran mentions that heaven and Earth were once joined before separation, which is interpreted as the Big Bang theory.
He started arguing back and said I don’t care. Our brother explained to him the reality of hellfire and the hereafter. And told him would you rather be in hellfire or paradise. He said I’m tempted to say yes.
We told him if you want to try, go back to your home, put the candle on and see how long it can last for you. He said but we are humans, we can survive the fire. We will get used to it. At the end of the conversation, he said, If something significant happened to him after this conversation. He would look into Islam more seriously.
Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills.
Quran 28:56

Why The Quran Is The Last Message Of God?
A Christian old man spoke with us and wanted to know about the Quran. We told him that the Quran is the final message of Allah. Because it is complete, preserved and universal guidance for all mankind. It has sealed the chain of Prophethood till the day of judgement.
And Muhammad (S.A.W) is the last messenger of Allah; no Prophet can come after him. He listened carefully and agreed to take the Quran and read it further. Alhamdulillah
