Weekly Street Dawah In Milton Keynes: From Honest Questions To A Shahada

Where are other da’ee (team members)? Questions we often get this week from the regular visitors. When they don’t see any other brother from the team. It shows that with Allah’s permission, our dawah presence has been established in our areas.

People are starting to recognize us; it’s Allah’s blessing that they know us through the message of Islam. Our purpose is to plant the seed in their hearts. They’re the means to spread this message forward to the community.

Whenever they meet someone who doesn’t know how to find the purpose of life. They will recommend us or come to discuss their perspective on life. They way, this week, people showed up with their stories.

A young lad who doesn’t believe in God. But after having a conversation with the team, he said, “You guys gave me a reason to think about it”. A Christian lady who became Muslim shared her journey with Islam.

An elderly gentleman who’s from a Christian background but very open-minded about Islam. But what difficulties do they face throughout the journey?

Read the article to uncover the real conversations happening behind the scenes.

In CMK A Christian Shared His Understanding Of Islam

An elderly man in a mobility chair approached us. His name was John, and he was very eager to talk about Islam. He was very open-minded and asked for a copy of the Quran. He said, “How much should I need to pay for it”?

Brother said we’re offering it free to everyone in Milton Keynes. Instead of his Christian background, he shared his understanding of Islam. John said he believes in one God, prophets, and that Jesus isn’t the son of God.

He wants to learn more about Islam. However, he knows a lot about Islam brother still shared some basics of Islam with him. At the end of the conversation, he left with a Quran and several leaflets about Jesus.

We ask all of you to make dua for him. He has already accepted the truth. He simply needs guidance to firm his heart upon the path of steadfastness.

Does God Have A Father? Debate During Bletchley Dawah

One of the most interesting conversations that we had in Bletchley was at the end of the session. A gentleman approached us asking whether we believe Allah has a father. Brother Nihad led the conversation.

Brother explained to him that Allah is eternal. He is uncreated, without a beginning, and the one who created the whole universe. As you see this world, there must be a designer behind it; it’s Almighty.

Someone who managed everything and is free in all His will. He is the sustainer and the ruler of this world and unique in His attributes. He is beyond time, space, matter, and the limitations of creation.

He only says, “Be,” and it is. He created human beings for His worship, our real purpose in this life.

“He is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden. And He has knowledge of all things.”

 Quran 57:3

But the individual wasn’t particularly open-minded. He came with a specific question and was only interested in debating that point. He didn’t want to look at the broader aspects of Islam.

A Father Bought His Daughter To Have A Conversation With Us

An Iranian brother came with his daughter and wanted us to speak with her. Our team discussed and advised her on dunya and the Islamic perspective. What’s the purpose of living?

How we should need to spend our lives by having Taqwa. During street outreach, having conversations with youth and guiding them towards Islam is something we truly love. Because the young generation is the one who’s going to take over.

We have youngsters in our dawah team to spread the message of Islam in the streets of Milton Kenyens. If you have any questions or want to join us. You can come even just for one hour, nothing but with a smile on your face. Every Saturday in CMK, Bletchley and Kingston.

Why Should I Believe In God? How MK Dawah Helps An Atheist In Kingston

A young lad who doesn’t believe in God approached us. He asked, “Why should I believe there’s a God”? MK Dawah volunteer gave him an example, brother said If you look around at nature and within ourselves.

What do you think is the purpose of our living? Who is the one who created everything? Science says the universe began with the Big Bang. But that raises another question: What caused the Big Bang?

We plant a tiny seed in the soil, yet it grows into a giant tree. Who gave that seed the ability to grow? Who designed the laws that make life possible?

The intellectual patterns in nature invite us to reflect on the existence of a Creator. There’s a designer behind this universe; it’s impossible to say everything happened automatically. After the conversation, he said, “You guys gave me a reason to think about God”.

He left with a Quran copy and was informed he can approach us on Saturdays if he has any questions. May Allah SWT make this moment a turning point for him that grows into sincere faith. Increase him in knowledge and guide him to the straight path, Ameen.

Another brother accepted Islam at the coffee hall this afternoon, AllahuAkbar. He’s from Manchester and looking to move to Milton Keynes. He has many Muslim friends, Alhamdulillah.

But brothers took his contact number to guide him through our MK Dawah revert program. May Allah preserve him and grant him success in this life and hereafter.

A Christian Woman Shared Her Journey With Islam

A Christian lady who has lived in Dubai came to our stall to share her story. She married a Muslim man from Egypt (they’re separated now). She mentioned that she was forced to accept Islam. She married a Muslim, which led her ex-husband, a Christian, to cut ties with their daughter.

She was really upset about that. But still, she believes there’s one God and reads the Quran. May Al-Rahman make things easy for her, Ameen
