Why do people sometimes feel disheartened in dawah? The question that comes to every mind when they want to participate in the path of devotion. Dawah isn’t a smooth journey; sometimes you feel hurt because of people’s behavior.
And the other day you feel amazed by seeing the miracles of Allah (S.A.W). How a person is guided and chosen by him to embrace the beauty of Islam. Those days remind you of why you started and for whom you’re doing this.
MK Dawah team experiences these beautiful moments on the blessed day of Eid. When one of our brother named, Corey, and a sister took their shahada. The beautiful time after the Holy month of Ramdan when we all do our best to please him. And Almighty, open the doors in a way we can’t imagine.
May the most accepting accept all our efforts, prayers, fasts, and Itikaf that we have done for his sake. Make both of them the best of Muslims and Khair for the ummah. Ameen

Recognition Of One Supreme Being In CMK:
It was a late start today in CMK, various brothers committed to come. But because of several circumstances in their lives, they didn’t make it. But all of them had the intention. The next question that comes to your mind is.
Can small efforts (only intention) in dawah lead to big rewards? That’s the beauty of Islam, if you only had intention in your mind. Allah (S.A.W) rewards you for that beautiful thought, even if you are not able to make it happen.
Actions are judged by intentions.
(Sahih al-Bukhari 1, Sahih Muslim 1907)
We spoke to a 20-year-old young man, named Fabio, who’s from England. He was very philosophical and asked such intelligent questions, MashaAllah. We had a long conversation about the creator and his belief system.
He was very keen to learn about Islam and angels. We ended this philosophical conversation about God in Islam after some key concepts. Now he has a better understanding of one God before he entered.
He wasn’t sure there was just a Supreme Being, but now he believes Alhamdulillah. May Al-Noor, who gave him a chance to step into the conversation, lighten his heart with Hidayah.
Then we spoke to another African man living in England. He had a very long conversation with the professor. He came from a Christian angle, we presented him a Quran and a book. He took them and will come back with his questions, InshaAllah.
How Does the Quran Explain Satan: A Discussion In Bletchley
A man approached us and ask we had any material on Satan. Our team member Neil explained to him that we don’t have. But told him how the Quran explains about satan when he refused to bow to Adam (A.S). Iblis was good to start with, until he disobeyed God’s command.
He rejected to bow to Adam (A.S) because of his pride and arrogance. Stating he was made of smokeless fire and Adam from clay. Then he was thrown out of paradise. He asked for respite up until the last hour to distract mankind from the straight path, and God permitted him.
The gentleman listened very attentively, took notes, and then left. After sometime he walked past, and our brother asked him what the purpose of life is? He kept walking and said, “to carry on”.
Brother Neil said carry on to where? He had no reply and moved on with his walk.
InshaAllah, if we get a chance to meet him again, we will explain to him the Islamic perspective of life. And how to find your true purpose and the path of light.
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

What’s The Right Time To Take Shahada?
A white brother whom we had met in our last week’s dawah session introduced himself as Yousuf. He is actively engaged in Islamic lessons in Wolverton masjid, came back this week to say hello and to see if we need anything.
Brother Adil took this opportunity to introduce him to brother Neil and also to dig deeper into his mindset. We explain to him not to delay taking his shahada. He replied, “I’m still battling with sins and want to address them before entering Islam, and am waiting for the right time”.
We explained to brother Yousuf that there is no such human in this world who doesn’t sin, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Being Muslim or non-Muslim has no relation to sin itself, although Muslims try a lot more to be cautious of all sins.
As for the right time to take your shahada, your whole life can go by. So please don’t delay, we didn’t pressure him so much as the Imam in Wolverton masjid is working closely with him.
May Allah guide him to take the crucial step as soon as possible. Ameen
A Successful Debate In Bletchley:
A Christian lady of reasonable age approached the dawah station and placed three money-looking notes. Each has a Bible verse on it, while walking away said I took a leaflet from you guys and know you can use them to get a free Bible.
Brother Adil said hold up, come over, let’s have a chat. We started a dialogue, and I asked about her beliefs. She was a Christian and believed in one God, and that we should have a discussion for five minutes each.
Brother Adil, reduce the time to 2 minutes each with no interjection, and she agreed. I went into her belief and soon came into the light she believed. So, the conversation started a debate with many interjections.
She was accusing the Quran of having verses like lying is ok. When we asked her where it says, she didn’t have a clue. I explained that in the Bible, there were numerous contradictions, and some of these were set out.
King 8:26 (KJV/NIV/ESV): States Ahaziah was a 22-year-old when he began to reign. Chronicles 22:2 (KJV): States Ahaziah was 42 years old when he began to reign. She was trying to put a spin on it by saying they were two different people.
I explained to him in detail that Ahaziah’s father and Gram’s mother were the same, so it is the same person. She agreed and said it’s just a small number error. We went back and forth to her main point, which was that she has a guaranteed promise of paradise.
As Jesus has sacrificed himself for her sins and, Muslims have to do work to attain paradise. I explain why God would kill himself? She didn’t have much of an answer for anything and stuck to 100% human form and 100% God form.
I wanted her to understand she is insane for believing 3 Gods make one God. We had our youngest dawah nephew, Adul Rafay, listening to all the conversation. To break the confusion, I came up with a brilliant example.
The 3 notes she left on our table, I took them and asked Abdul Rafay to hold one note. I asked the lady to explain how many notes were in his hand, she said one. I said, let’s assume this God, the Father.
Then handed him the second note and asked the lady how many notes were in his hand. She said no, I’m not doing this, you know how many. I said please bare with me, just answer and she said 2 notes.
I explained, let’s assume Jesus God/son of God second person in your trinity. Then I handed the 3rd and asked how many she said three notes. I explained the 3rd person of your Trinity, the Holy Spirit.
I said, now explain to this young man how he has only 1 note in his hand. Abdul Rafy also asked her, but the reply was I can’t explain. We said as Muslims, we love Jesus and follow him more than Christians.
We fall on our faces and pray just like Jesus, and do you? She said sometimes. The lady was not sincere and stubborn in her ways, and took on board that she would look into the Quran.
Brother Neil explained to her who Jesus (A.S) prays to, but she was stuck there and had to leave. The debate was brought to an end. All praise and glory to Allah for allowing us to be successful in our debate.
Sharing The Quran And Leaflets:
Every conversation starts with a question or doubt in their minds. Ended up sharing a Quran copy and a leaflet. A first step for every seeker to get clarity and an answer to their queries.
By the will of Allah, we distributed several Quran copies and literature booklets. That includes Love of God, The Last Messenger, God’s testimony, The Quran short journey, Making sense of God, and a purple Quran.
Joining Hands With MK Dawah:
Alhamdulillah, MK Dawah team is doing an awesome job. We witness Shahdha’s people learning about Islam before stepping in. Reverts want to practice Islam from the basics to be a better Muslim in this duniya and akhira.
In our Muslim community of UK, we guide our brothers and sisters step by step in their journey of Islam from foundational steps. This is the most difficult part for any revert to get the right space for guidance after embracing the path of faithfulness.
We plan to accelerate our dawah activities to reach more hearts and souls. Be a part of it by giving your time, skills, or strengthening with finance to expand our vision. You can reach out through our website contact form, email, phone, and social media platforms.
