During Dawah, coming up with creative strategies that makes environment friendly is one of the key purposes. In this Prophetic job, our mission is to stop people and have discussions with them.
It’s only Allah who can change the situation of a heart. We just have to plant a seed and give them the edge to explore Islam on their own. So, this week, the MK Dawah team tried something different.
As a part of our community outreach, we had a makeshift goalpost and football. MK Dawah team invited people to try to score a goal. If they lost, then they had to ask one question and leave by taking a leaflet.
A group of sisters who came with children were also invited to play. Sisters played, and it was a very well-received soft approach that attracted people to our Dawah stores. A lady in Kingston approached us and said “Do you guys organize football events”?
The MK Dawah brother told her we preach Islam. Then the conversation began, with football acting as the icebreaker. A lot of people came to score one goal but stayed to discuss Islam or their religions.

What Does It Take To Be Successful? A Discussion About Allah In CMK
To become successful, you need certain capabilities, including intellect, hard work, and a healthy body. Have you ever thought about who gave me these capabilities? Without Allah, none of your achievements would be possible.
This was the main topic of conversation with two young ladies. One said she is Muslim, and the other appeared to be Christian. They shared that their purpose in life is to become successful.

Brother gave her examples of Allah’s blessings, such as eyesight, speaking ability, thought process, and many others. Without them, how can you define success? It is only Allah who allows your capabilities to work, and through them, you can pursue the road of achievements.
Everyone has different goals and a parameter to measure success. But without these capabilities and the support of our Creator, no one can achieve even a single victory. Both ladies understand our point, Alhamdulillah.
May Al-Noor fill their hearts with peace and illuminate their path to success with His guidance, Ameen.
Why Do We Need To Believe In The Creator?
Brother Amir and Kabir had a conversation with a man from Poland named Philip. They talked about how Allah manifest himself through the world around us. How nature is a living proof of his existence.
Everything in this universe is in a specific pattern. We see the sun rise and set at its appointed time. The moon never overlaps with the sun; each follows its own course.
We plant a tiny seed beneath the soil, and over time, it grows into a mighty tree. But who nourishes that tiny seed and gives it the ability to flourish? These are the signs of God in His creation.
In Islam, the first and core belief of our lives is that there’s only one Creator. He is unique in His attributes and has no partners. We are here in this world to surrender and worship Him. This is the main purpose of our lives as Muslims.
Every other thing has a secondary position in our lives. He was very receptive throughout the conversation and took some leaflets with him, Alhamdulillah.
People In Bletchley Believe In God But Do Not Follow Any Religion
An elderly sister who was a primary school teacher stopped at our Dawah stall to have a conversation. She talked about teaching children different religions in UK schools. She highlighted Sikhism and Islam, mentioned that in Catholic schools they teach Christianity.
Whereas in other schools, Christianity isn’t prioritized. She seemed a little bit sad about that. But overall, she was not following a religion. Before leaving, she took a leaflet from us for her knowledge.
In Milton Keynes, each week we met at least one person who explored every religion. But not follow any of them. People have understanding, but they seem confused about choosing a faith to follow as their final path.
How Should A Christian Woman Define God?
What is your belief regarding God? God is the eternal, supreme creator and the only sustainer of this universe. All dominion over the heavens and the earth belongs to Him alone. But there could be many Gods that people believe in.
During the conversation with a lady who was born in a Christian family. She grew up as a Christian, but after moving to different locations. And due to some circumstances in her life. She has now decided not to go to church anymore.
She gave us a definition of God that genuinely fit, but she also came across the concept of many Gods. Said there are other Gods people believe in. Since she was in a hurry, we couldn’t have a longer conversation. Brother clarified for her how Islam defines God.

In Islam, God is known as Allah. The one who has no partners or offspring and is the absolute creator. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and unique in His attributes. He has no beginning and ending.
“He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.”
Quran (57:3)
Before leaving, she took The Man in the Red Underpants pamphlet as well.
People In Kingston Assumed We Organized A Football Event
A lady named Natalie approached us thinking we are organising a football event. The MK Dawah volunteer offered her a leaflet and asked about her concept of God in Christianity. She believed in the Trinity.
We explained to her why Jesus isn’t God in Islam. After accepting the leaflet, we advised her to take some time out and reflect on her belief. If she had any questions, she could come to us every Saturday for further questions if needed.
The People Of Palestine Are The Reason She Explored Islam
Why do Muslims believe in and thank God despite suffering? This is the question of Katie, an atheist woman. She approached our table to find out what we are preaching. We told her that we are calling people to Islam.

She shared that she’s been looking into Islam since the war in Palestine started. She wanted to know about those people of faith who, after what they went through, still thank God. The MK dawah team explained to her that this life is temporary and we have to work for our hereafter.
These hardships and afflictions are tests from the Almighty. Muslims believe that Allah is always by their side. In these moments of trial, we turn to Him and ask for patience and strength.
We told her the five pillars of Islam. She left with a copy of the Quran and some leaflets. May Al-Rehman accept our efforts, put barakah in our words, and make them a reason for changing someone’s heart, Ameen.
