Central Milton Keynes Dawah: Continuing The Prophetic Mission

Does doing street dawah in the UK have an impact? People come to share their perspectives and doubts. Engage in long conversations, agree with many points, and leave by taking leaflets or a Quran copy.

Does it truly stay with them? Because only a few of them reflect deeply in the moment to embrace the path of devotion. This week, we experience the answers. When a man who took material three months ago came back with a belief.

The calmness and peace of Islam forced a Christian lady to come to our stall by leaving her community preaching. Dawah isn’t about instant change. It’s something unseen that settles in your heart.

A quiet transformation and answers to your misconceptions that unfold with the layer of guidance. Because nothing is in our control. It’s Al-Hadi who can guide a person to His path of light.

Our job is simply to convey the message with simplicity, wisdom, and beautiful character. May Allah (S.A.W) accept our efforts and forgive the shortcomings. Ameen

From Doubts To Clarity About The Quran In CMK:

Why do people think the Quran has different versions? The problem surfaced when an Englishman named Rob, who served in the British Army in Afghanistan and Iraq, approached us. He has a great knowledge of Muslim culture and traditions.

But he said the Quran has many versions and contradictions, like the New Testament and the Old Testament. We explained to him that the Quran is only one. And there are different translations, that are not contradictions in the Quran.

The Quran has been in its original Arabic for over 1400 years, with millions memorizing it word by word. And till the day of judgment, it will remain preserved in its original form. Because it’s Allah who takes care of it. Finally, he left by taking a Quran copy and promise to read it.

Indeed, it is We who have sent down the Reminder (Qur’an), and indeed, We will be its guardian.

Quran 15:9

Two Surahs Led A Christian To Accept The Quran:

An African lady from Nigeria refused to accept the Quran copy when she passed us. But on her way back again, our brother offered her, and she said I’m a Christian. We told her about the high status and the honor of Jesus in Islam.

Our brother Rajhi pointed to Surah Maryam and Surah Aal-e-Imran to read. If she wanted to learn more about Jesus. Alhamdulillah, she took a copy of the Quran.

Then another young English lady, who also said she was Christian. But she listened carefully about Islam and other messengers. At the end of the conversation, she accepted a copy of the Quran.

May the Divine mercy guide their hearts by pulling them into the center of His Oneness. And, make this first step of reading the Quran a source of light, healing, and lasting guidance for their lives. Ameen

A Lost Quran Found Again In CMK:

An old gentleman with his wife said he had an old Penguin Classic edition of the Quran. Had been reading it, but he had misplaced it somewhere. So, he was happy to receive a copy of the Quran.

This is how the MK Dawah team continues its mission by spreading happiness and the peaceful message of Islam across hearts. With the grace of the Almighty, we distributed several leaflets and 23 Qurans.

Questions, Beliefs, And Conversations About Faith In Bletchley:

The day started at 9:30 am, and we had 5 brothers at the stall. It was quiet at the beginning and picked up at 11 am. We had some Christian evangelists singing and preaching loudly. And there was a showcase of Jesus’ crucifixion, including wailing and crying.

The conversation started when an elderly lady approached us with sympathy. Because of the way Christians were preaching by shouting and making a huge show. Our team uses this opportunity to ask about her beliefs.

She was concerned with all the evil going on around the world. Why does suffering exist? Why does God allow all such bad things to happen? Most of her concerns were dealt with, and she was happy with the response.

We agreed on there being a greater power, and then we went on to inform her about the message of Islam. She walked away with a Quran copy, the man in the red underpants, and God’s testimony to understand why the Quran is truly a miracle.

She assured us she will read all these, and we are hoping to see her again at some point in the future. InshaAllah

A Pause At The Final Messenger:

Then we had another conversation with two Christian women. The conversation reach to dead end, unfortunately.  Once we agreed there was a creator, but they were not willing to accept the revelations or the final messenger.

Anytime our brother would talk about the miracles of the Quran, he would be told that they can speak just as highly about their Bible. Nonetheless, they were very friendly and still walked away with a copy of “The Last Messenger”.

May Al-Noor guide them to the right path with His boundless mercy. Put barakah in our words and efforts to touch and change their hearts.  Ameen

A Message He Couldn’t Forget After Three Months In Kingston:

Some moments during street dawah amazed you and left a mark for the whole life. It compels you to reflect on the guidance and mercy of Al-Hadi. Something you do not expect, just a small gesture bring someone to the path of faith.

Around three months ago, someone was driving and stopped to get some material. The brother went to him and gave “The man in the red underpants”. Today, he came back and told us it makes sense to him.

Now he accepts there’s only one God and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to be the last Messenger. He insisted he wants to study more and said the person who wrote the book was clever. He has been reading the Shahada for one month, not knowing what it entails.

We told him to take his shahada there, but he was not ready. He wants to explore other religions and promise to visit the masjid. At the end, he said I know you think I won’t come to the majid, but I will. It shows how hearing Islam message once can change someone’s beliefs over time.

Why Does God Allow Evil In the World?

A brother spoke to the lady who came with this gentleman. She doesn’t believe in God, according to her, because children die and all other things happening. We made her know that it’s due to our actions.

We have free will to do good or bad. Also, let her know that the life of this world is a test for all of us.

He who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed.

Quran (67:2)

We also spoke with an atheist and gave him examples of why there is a higher power. That created us all, and the scientific evidence in the Quran. He has some doubts because of his beliefs, but he took a leaflet.

Then we spoke with two guys who haven’t thought about the purpose of life. We explain to them the Islamic perspective of life. Why are we here in this dunya, and what’s our purpose of living? One of them took the Quran and the other took leaflets.

By the favor of Al-Mubeen, we handed out  55+ leaflets and 1 Quran to the guidance seekers. May He accept our efforts and make it a source of benefit hereafter. Ameen
