Central Milton Keynes Dawah Mission: Another Day of Blessings

Every week of Dawah comes with its beautiful reflections. People come to share their perspectives and the times they are going through. Their discussion sometimes leaves you thinking, and other feels grateful.

In this week’s MK Dawah mission, we experience the same moments. Some people reject, others reflect, and some accept after a brief discussion. Everyone has their own journey, questions, and concept of getting the right path.

But Alhamdulillah, with the grace of the Almighty he allows us to serve on His path. Every conversation carry it’s own outcome and understanding. We have to continue our Prophetic mission by listening with clairty and humbleness.

Every effort and step is rewarded and counted by Him. We purely need to trust the process because he is the only one who guided people to the path of faithfulness.

Indeed, you do not guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of those who are [rightly] guided.

 Quran  (28:56)

The iERA Method Leading to Shahada in CMK:

Our brother Abdul Hafid spoke with a gentleman named Adam. During the conversation, he focused on three main points. Suggested by the iERA method of guidance in Dawah that includes God, revelation, and the Prophet.

Highlighting the unique attributes of Allah and so many manifestations of His existence. Then, after accepting that Allah is one. Our brother moved to the Quran, that why it is a word of our God in Islam.

Based on the three main facts (consistency, preservation, and content), we moved on to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Why is he a messenger and a prophet? Mentioning that he is illiterate and going back to the Quran.

The scientific evidence in the Quran and the clear indication that he is a Prophet. This is how the conversation went, and our brother explained Islam step by step.  He agreed with all these, and then we concluded with his Shahada, Alhamdulillah.

May the Lord of the heavens make his journey easy, comfort his heart with peace. And make him a khiar for the ummah. Ameen

Disagreed With Christian’s View Of The Creator:

People are delving into different religions to find the path of light. They have faith and know the existence of one supreme being. But something is still missing, and they are in search of their real purpose in life.

During the conversation with brother Rom, who was interested in the nature of God. And how it is described within the Islamic faith. He stated that he was a Christian-leaning atheist but disagreed with their view of the creator.

MK dawah team members Hamza and Azhar elaborate to him the attributes and the names of Allah (S.W.T). What does Islam say about Jesus? He didn’t take a Quran but left with a Jesus leaflet.

We also had many other brief conversations, whereby we distributed the Qur’an. An interaction involved a pastor who said he would read the Quran on his travels.

And then an elder man who said he had missed the Quran. Initially, he received it but gave it away to a friend. He was delighted to be offered another.

Challenges Didn’t Stop Her Path To Islam In Bletchley:

It was a quiet day at Bletchley. It started with a light conversation between brother Adil and a sister exploring philosophy. She was one-legged, looked homeless, and was reading some book sitting on her makeshift beanbag.

We found that she already had a smaller version of the Quran with her. May Allah make life easy for her and grant her guidance. Ameen

Then we had another discussion with a Christian brother. Who came up to the table and was interested in reading the Quran. After a short chat, he left by taking a copy of the Quran. Brother Yusuf visited us again today, who was taking his lessons in the Volverton masjid.

Then, finally, we had the sister from last week return to give a copy of the Bible. While accusing the Quran of being ok for lying, which she couldn’t prove or bring any evidence.

Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book in truth…

Quran (4:105)

Discussing Beliefs In Kingston:

People hold their wrong beliefs so strongly in their minds. Even when they want to find the path of truth, it doesn’t make any change to them. A lady approached us, saying she had the Quran and read a bit of it.

It will not make any change to her faith. We told her it meant to make her see the truth. But she avoided further conversation and walked away.

Quran In UK School Library:

A person named Leo came and took 2x Quran to be put in the school library, where he works. He asked if there’s a special way to place it. And was told to put it in the shelf properly.

May the Divine mercy also guide him and anyone who reads those Qurans. Make it their first step towards the right path. Ameen

What’s The Difference Between Islam & Christianity?

A young man of 15 years old who is from catholic background and believes in the Trinity. He mentioned there are many differences between Islam and Christianity. We explain the major difference is the concept of God and who Jesus is.

How Muslims see Jesus as the great Prophet of Allah. Jesus and all of us fall to our faces in worship of only one creator, Ar-Rabb.

The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him…

Quran (5:75)

He Didn’t Believe in God:

A young man, Harrison, doesn’t believe in God. We asked him about his goals and the purpose of life. He understands the difference, but hasn’t thought of his goals in life. We explained to him the Islamic perspective on the purpose of life.

And also were able to make him reason that there’s a God who created everything, and all depends on him. He agrees, and then we spoke to him about the Messenger (S.A.W) and how the Quran was revealed.

He ended up by taking a leaflet and a copy of the Quran. May reading the Quran soften his heart and Almighty centered him towards his oneness with his Raham. Ameen

He’s Not Christian But Believes in the Bible:

We had a man named Albert who visited his mum every weekend all the way from London. He comes again the second or third time and keeps saying I’m not a Christian. But belives in the Bible, when evidence is shown to him from the same Bible.

He rejected it and said we can’t understand unless it is revealed to us. He was all over the place in his discussion and doesn’t want to accept the truth.

May Al-Rahman open his heart and grant him insight to recognize the light of guidance. Remove the veil from his eyes and mind so he may see the difference between truth and falsehood, and lead him to what is right. Ameen

How Many Hearts We Reach This Week?

A seeking heart always find it’s way to Noor. And the Sovereign Lord always helps those who want to bring a change in their lives. Every conversation begins or ends with what is explained in the Quran.

How can people relate and find the answers to their sufferings? They took Quran copies and literature books to heal thier soul and nourish their minds. A quiet, gentle, and small step towards the way of submission.

We distributed 18 Quran copies and 70+ leaflets that include Love of God, making sense of God, and the last Messenger.

Be The Change By Joining MK Dawah:

Alhamdulillah, despite harsh behaviors and difficult moments MK Dawah team continues their mission with full dedication. Our brothers were approached by a security and the little pickers said they shouldn’t be approaching people.
