Calling people towards Islam this week on Global Dawah Day was an outstanding experience. Dawah football was an exceptional conversation starter. A casual goal missed by brothers made passersby laugh and question what you guys are doing.

A gentleman who is suffering from emotional trauma after losing his sister. His anger and lack of understanding of God’s plan lead him to question His existence. Another Christian brother who came just to ask, “Why can’t Muslims and Christians live together”? 

People who understand every other belief but want peace on this planet. Not every conversation led to shahada or ended with a Quran copy being taken. A few of them show how people think, their perspectives, and their concept of life. 

People want to live their lives with purpose, gratitude, and the guidance of the Supreme Being. But they still haven’t discovered the path of steadfastness. MK dawah team is doing their best to continue the Prophetic mission and spread the message of one God. 

It’s Allah who chooses us to be a means of carrying out His work.. All guidance belongs to Al- Hadi, the one who has the capacity to change hearts.

How A Difficult Situation In CMK Led Him To Question God’s Existence

If God exists, why did my sister die? A young man came with the question to brother Abdullah. He lost his sister, and because of that, felt there’s no God. At the start of the conversation, he was a bit angry and questioned where God was. 

Alhamdulillah, brother Abdullah dealt with him very well and said even though your sister has died. Think about the blessings she had during her short period of life.This life is temporary and a test for all of us.

At the end of the day, we all have to taste death. In Islam, the purpose of life is to worship Him alone. Submitting ourselves to Him (Tawheed), the belief in the Oneness of God. We have the free will to choose wrong or right for us. 

Islam teaches us how to respond to a tragedy. Losing your loved ones is one of the biggest losses in this world. But it’s our faith test from Allah SWT. Everyone has their specific time to leave this dunya, but at the end we all return. 

“He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed.”

Quran (67:2) 

We will meet them in Jannah because this world is not our permanent house.  At the end of the conversation, he felt very calm and left by taking several pamphlets and a Quran. 

May Al-Rahman ease his heart with peace and tranquility. Give him strength to cope with this loss and grant him clarity to understand the religion of truth, Ameen.

In Kingston, A Chinese Woman Took A Qur’an To Compare With The Bible

Sometimes people are skeptical of our perspectives regarding answers to their queries. They took Islamic material to do their own research and compare beliefs. A Chinese lady who took some pamphlets previously. 

Now, she came to take a Quran to compare it with her beliefs. Dawah isn’t always inviting them towards Islam with your words. It’s spreading the message of Allah with wisdom and sincerity. 

You have to give them access to the right material. Give them space to find the truth on their own. Let the light of Islam enlighten their hearts by comparing it with other faiths openly, Ameen. 

“There shall be no compulsion in religion. The right way has become distinct from error.”

Can Non-Muslims Visit a Mosque? Question Asked During Street Dawah In Bletchley

The MK Dawah brothers, Nihad, Fahad, Ahmad, and Samad, were busy teaching Islam to people in Bletchley. Ahmad and Fahad were just taking shots with a football on the goal point made by the Dawah box. 

They missed the goal, and a random stranger started laughing. Allah SWT opened the day for the guy to come and approach us. He started asking questions: “What are you guys doing”? 

We started explaining Tawheed (the oneness of Allah) to him. The fundamental and indivisible concept in Islam that Allah is all alone. It literally means “to make one” or  “to affirm the oneness”. 

He is the supreme God, unique in His attributes without any partner, son, or equal. He is only worthy of worship and devotion. He really took to it. We explained to him our situation, that our main purpose is to spread Islam. 

To make people aware of the oneness of God and certain etiquettes of a Muslim. He really enjoyed what we said and brought up a question: “Where’s the masjid”? I know one near the Coffee Hall. Brother said, yeah, that’s correct. 

He said, “Can I come to the masjid”? Of course you can; we are here every Saturday from 9 o’clock to 1 o’clock. He said he’s free next Saturday and might come to the masjid. We encourage him to come. We will pray, and you can watch us praying. 

He left by taking a physical Quran copy and several leaflets. May Al-Hādī instill khayr in his heart, open his mind, and guide him to the truth, Ameen. InshaAllah, we will see him next Saturday in the masjid.
