People across different religious beliefs agreed on one thing: that there’s one God. The Almighty is the creator of everything in the universe. But they are searching for clear direction and guidance to connect with the truth.
With Global Dawah Day approaching on 11 July 2026, we put together a setup designed to spark curiosity and invite meaningful conversations.
People happily engaged in discussions with MK Dawah team members, sharing their perspectives. A few of them initially refused to talk or accept a copy of the Quran, but later came back to get the material.
In Dawah, there is no room for arrogance, because our purpose is to seek Allah’s pleasure, not our own recognition. We also had to deal with a group of lads who were agnostic and not aligned with any of our beliefs.
A Nigerian lady who got angry and said she would ask Jesus to send fire on us tonight. All these things happened because of people blindly following without common sense. They followed a religion but did not have proper knowledge about their own basics.
All guidance belongs to Allah; we just tried our best to continue the Prophetic mission. Read the article to see behind the scenes of these conversations. How a person pauses for a moment and then leaves with clarity by taking a physical copy of the Quran.
People In CMK Want To Learn More About Islam
What are the basic beliefs of Islam? There are six core beliefs that every Muslim accepts in Islam. The first one is the oneness of God. Allah is alone, and He has no partners or offspring. There’s no creator except Him, and He’s the only worthy of worship.
He created angels and sent His divine guides (books) to His Prophets through the angel Gabriel. The last book, the Quran, was revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW. He sent His messengers and Prophets throughout history to guide humanity towards the path of steadfastness.
The chain started from Prophet Adam (AS) and ended at Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). His message is the final revelation for mankind. Muslims believe that everything is in Allah’s control and nothing happens without His permission.
We have free will to choose wrong and right for ourselves. This life is temporary and a test for believers. Everyone has to gather on the day of judgement and will be held accountable for their actions. In the end, the result of our actions will determine whether our final home is Paradise or Hellfire.
This discussion was with a Sri Lankan Tamil Christian brother whom we had spoken to previously. He has been learning Islam through his school Muslim friends. He accepted that there’s one God and all the Prophets, including Prophet Muhammad (SAW), were sent by Him.
But to believe in the other four articles of faith, he wants to learn more about Islam. May Allah make this journey effective for him and enlighten his heart with the Noor of His guidance. Ameen.
Is Teaching Good Morals Enough For The Purpose Of Life?
The other memorable discussion was with a Christian brother, Noah. he was very open-minded and showed willingness to learn more about faith, family, and purpose. He shared how he raised his children and taught them morals. He wants to ensure they have a good life.

Brother push him that he should need to think about the hereafter. Why is religion important for children? How is Islam the real truth? We also linked him to the story of Noah in the Qur’an. He was very receptive to the conversation and exchanged contact details with the brothers for future discussions.
May Al-Hadi make this first conversation a spark in his heart to take the first step towards Islam. Ameen
Why Is Jesus Called The Son Of Mary?
There was a very aggressive Nigerian lady who argued with us. She said she would ask Jesus to send fire on all of you tonight for calling him the “son of Mary”. When we asked her, “Who is the mother of Jesus”? She replied Mary.
Yet, she insisted she cannot call him the “son of Mary”. This was a clear example of those who reject without understanding.
“They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear…”
Quran 7:179
Oneness Of God In Islam In Bletchley Conversations
The day started with a very calm but long conversation with an atheist brother. He believed everything around is God. The main purpose of the discussion was to establish the definition of God in a way that makes sense to everyone.
Brother walked him through iERA’s GORAP method to build the perspective of Islam in a short time. He explained to him the existence of God with the “design argument”. Every object, whether a mobile phone, car or even a bottle, has a design. This complex universe structure points towards a designer.
There’s a supreme being who controls everything and about the oneness of God (monotheism) in Islam. All power belongs to Him, and He is unique in His attributes. He sent revelations to His Prophets to give us a proper manual for life to live it with guidance.
The Almighty has taken responsibility for protecting His Book Himself. He gave us everything and free will to choose what we want to do in our lives.
Then we had a second conversation with a Christian brother who was an atheist earlier. He was trying to call us to Christianity. Our team explained to him clearly about the perspective of Jesus. And why he can’t be God?
The connection between religion and the Prophets from Hazrat Adam (AS) to Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Every Prophet convey the same message of the oneness of God and calls people towards the path of steadfastness.
Jesus is also one of the noble Prophets of the Almighty who carry the same message forward.
“The Messiah, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger; many messengers passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They both used to eat food.. “
Quran 5:75
Christian Brother In Kingston Believes Jesus Isn’t God
A Christian brother from Ghana (Frederick) believed in the Trinity but doesn’t believe Jesus is God. He believes that Jesus is the son of God. MK team explained to him why there’s a contradiction in his beliefs already.
God is only one; how can He have a partner and offspring? He has no associate, and He alone deserves to be worshipped. He admitted to some of the evidence we gave him and said he’s looking for the truth.

Brothers gave him a reason why Islam is the only truth he’s looking for. But he said he can’t be a Muslim. We told him never to say never. We don’t know when Allah SWT guides your heart towards the light of Islam.
At the end of the conversation, he took one of the brothers’ number and a Quran copy.
May Al-Rahman make his search for truth easy and grant him clarity in understanding it. Ameen
