Doing dawah isn’t a job but a responsibility that Allah S.A.W has given to you. Sometimes circumstances don’t allow you to be present on time. You have personal issues or a heavy workload that distract you from the work of Allah.
But what do you do if you have to be on time at your job? You will use every possible means to arrive promptly. Because you’re afraid of your boss’s behavior and the possible consequences.
Dawah work deserves the same protocol. You’re doing this job to seek His pleasure and guidance. How can you be late and not present at your selected destination? The MK Dawah team member, brother Ahmad, proved his sincerity by stepping in and taking the lead in Bletchley.
He had no transportation and got a taxi to ensure he arrived on time. May the Almighty bless him and give rewards from His treasure. There’s no job more rewarding than the work of calling people towards the path of Islam.
People who are involved in this work are the chosen ones by Al-Noor. The most honored and respected, i.e the Prophets. Allah SWT gave us this opportunity to continue the mission of His beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, Alhamdulillah.

At CMK From Arguments To Accepting A Quran
A Christian brother from Nigeria initially tried to argue with our team member, brother Rajhi. When he offered him a copy of the Quran. He explained to him that we are not here to win arguments. But just simply share the facts for him to consider with an open mind.
Then he explained to him what the Quran says about Jesus. Showed him some verses from the Quran, especially Surah Al-Maidah, verse 116.
“And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, ‘O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, “Take me and my mother as two deities besides Allah”?’ He will say, ‘Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right to say. Had I said it, You would surely have known it. You know what is within myself, but I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, You alone are the Knower of all that is unseen.’”
Quran (5:116)
When he saw that, he stopped arguing and listened attentively. At the end of the conversation, he left with a Quran. He is not the first Christian brother who argued at our stall but left with a Quran.
May Al-Hadi guide him, open his heart to the truth, and grant him clear understanding, Ameen.
People In Kingston Want To Learn More About Islam
Why do we need religion? Religion is important in our lives because it provides a framework that answers existential questions. To understand the purpose of life and connect to the moral compass under the guidance of a supreme being.
It acts as a robust system that helps to cope with hardships and tough times in life. People become resilient and spiritually strong by finding inner peace and contentment. This conversation was with a gentleman who initially stated that I don’t believe in any religion.
I just believe in humanity. Our team started speaking with him and shared these perspectives. Why religion is important in our lives and in society? At the end of the conversation, he showed interest in learning more.
However, he mentioned that reading is difficult for him. He would love to have access to an audio version of the Quran.
She Wanted To Become Muslim One Day
Another heartfelt conversation was with an elderly lady. She stopped at our Dawah stand while using a mobility scooter. She began the conversation with brother Junaid and started crying during the discussion.
She said I’m glad that I met a Muslim today. We spent 30 minutes speaking with her on different topics such as faith and life in Islam. She accepted the copy of the Quran and requested to share her contact details with the brothers.
During the research, in case she would need any assistance. We will share her contact particulars with our sisters’ group. So they can guide and support her as she continues to learn more about Islam. When she was about to leave, she said I wanted to become a Muslim one day.
May Al-Noor enlighten her heart with His guidance and make her a sincere Muslim, InshaAllah.
Why Does God Allow Suffering And Evil?
One recurring topic raised during the outreach in Kingston was the question about suffering and injustice. A lady who works in the charity sector spent 15 minutes with us. We truly appreciate her personal values of trying to help and support people.
She said when she was younger, she used to go to the Church. But now, she no longer believes in God in general. Our brother shared with her that we also believe in Jesus, but as the respected Prophet of Allah.
We have faith in God but as one Creator. He has no companions and is only worthy of worship. He has certain attributes which are only applied to Him.
“Say, ‘He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born. Nor is there to Him any equivalent.'”
(Qur’an 112:1–4)
She questioned how belief in God could be reconciled with the amount of injustice and hardships. The same question we addressed before to an elderly sister with Parkinson’s. How Islam answers the problem of suffering and evil.
All these issues happening in the world are human-to-human. It’s people who make fasad (chaos) in this dunya. We don’t always know which is good or which is bad for us. It’s Allah SWT who knows everything.
Sometimes bad things happen in our lives; later on we say, Alhamdulillah. Because they are good for us now. The second thing we have to focus on is that this life is a test. We must have evil in this world for us. Otherwise, how could we differentiate between good and bad?
If everything became good in this Dunya. Then what’s the difference between this world and Paradise? We need to take everything from an Islamic point of view. She is a person of learning and took a physical copy of the Quran.
How Allah SWT Helps Us In Bletchley
At the start of the day, one of our brothers from the team was alone at the Dawah stand. Then the Almighty sent help for him. Muslim brothers who were walking around came to help. The other brother brought some tea for all of us and stayed for an hour at the stall.
This is how Al-Wakeel, the disposer of all affairs, sends unexpected support for His servants. Because He is the only one who knows what’s in our hearts. May the Most Powerful put barakah in our work and forgive our shortcomings, Ameen.
Are The Stories Of The Prophets Fictional?
A Christian lady who expressed her interest in learning about Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). She thinks all Prophet stories are fictional. We explained to her that Prophet Muhammad S.A.W is the historical figure and the last messenger of Allah.
There will be no Prophet after Him. He was known as Al-Sadiq (the truthful) and Al-Amin (trustworthiness) in His 40 years of life before receiving revelations. Brother told her it’s not like the stories or what you see in the movies.
These are the real stories about the Prophets and how those beloved people of Allah spread the message of Islam. We gave her a template that was talking about Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
She also took a Quran and asked where she could find us if she had any questions. We told her we are here in Bletchley every Saturday. She can visit us to clear her confusion or if she needs any material.
