Can street conversations lead to Dawah? Does giving one copy of the Quran answer all questions?
Yeah, this is what happened this Saturday. In the cold weather, when everything feels still, the MK Dawah team was busy with their goals. Setting up the stalls, podium, and having great conversations with people.
Facing their challenging arguments and curiosity with their profound knowledge. Explaining to them what Isam is? How can they find the right direction and give peace to their soul by humbling themselves before Allah?
During all these moments, MK Dawah witnessed 4 Shahadah with the grace of Allah Almighty.
“Our Lord, accept this from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”
Quran 2:127
One Approach Leads to Dual Shahdha In Central Milton Keynes:
Our team was hardly set up in the morning, opposite the library. Our brother Raji approached some people coming out of the car to give them a copy of the Quran. May Almighty reward and bless him.
After a short while, they came to the store and started asking questions. We had a great chat with the sister Henarita and brother Michael. We talked to them and explained everything about Islam to clear their doubts.
With divine favor and mercy, we witness the dual shahdha that we never had before. After this, we invite them to join our new Muslim classes, obviously sister with sisters and brother with brothers. To give them guidance and support after taking their Shahdha in the UK.
We also take them further from there, to become better Muslims for the Ummah. Kindly pray for them, may Allah accept them and make their path of truth easy.
“Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while being a believer, we will surely grant them a good life.”
Quran 16:97
Our brothers Ricky and Fleva also give Dawah invitation to an Englishman named Richard. He works in a firm with Muslims and saw them praying Salah. He is inspired by their discipline even though he is agonistic and offence.
But still, our team is making dawah for him to clear his misconceptions. May Allah put Barakah and guide him towards the right path.
Curiosity about finding the truth inspires people to explore Islam. During the conversation with a brother named Roy, he shared his intention about his name. He said if he becomes Muslim, then he will change his name to Ali.
He chooses the name of the most beloved of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). He took a copy of the Quran and promised to read. May the most Merciful grant him ease in this path of righteousness.

AL-Rawdha Mosque Dawah and Community Guidance:
While our many encounters of taking shadaha happened in public outreach. But masjid Al-Rawdha is the heart of this continued mission. A place where you can get guidance and learning towards the next steps of Islam.
Our brother Constantine, who took shahdha last week, came to the masjid for his Isha prayer. MahaAllah, with the divine favor, our team actively cooperates with him to learn how to pray.
Allahu Akbar, today another brother, Daimon took his shahada with MK dawah team member Ricky after Isha prayer at Al-Rawdha masjid.
My Al-Nur lightens their hearts with the light of His Rahma and makes them steadfast in their new journey of faith. Ameen
A Great Day Of Islam In Bletchley:
Our past two weeks of Dawah in Bletchley was quiet slow compared to the other communities. Things were going fine, but nothing was converting. But this Saturday, with the barakah from Allah, we witness one shahada (Alhamdulillah).
“And those who strive for Us, We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.”
Quran 29:69
Brother Nihad took time (may Almighty shower his blessings on him) and explained to brother Junior about Islam. After having a chat for some time, he accepted Islam and took his shahadah.
Is There A Greater Being Who Runs This World?
I am not sure in what I believed. This is the main pain point of the conversation with brother Leam. But after in depth talk with him, he agreed there is a greater being. The one in whose control is everything.
The most merciful who love you more than anyone in this world. So return to him, seek forgiveness, and bow in humility.
The Journey Before Shahadha, Kingston Dawah Stories:
Taking shahada is a priceless moment, but behind the scenes of this moment are full of doubts, misbelief, and hesitation. Am I choosing the right religion?
What if I believe the Quran is true but still have doubts?
Brother Lynn is going through the same situation. He has been reading the Quran and believes it is the truth. But he only read 10 pages and continued to clear his doubts.
May the most compassionate give him clarity and a way to his path. Ameen

We had another brother, Trevor, who doesn’t believe in God. But a small conversation with him sparked his interest in Islam. He left by taking the Quran copy and willing to read it.
Freezing Cold Couldn’t Stop His Curiosity:
We had a long conversation with a youngster who had a lot of questions on his mind. Despite wearing a t-shirt in the freezing temperature, he continued. Our brothers give him something to cover himself.
One of his questions was “What was the greatest miracle of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)”? And we answer the one you are holding in your hand (the Quran). Unfortunatley at the end of the chat, he returned the Quran copy and said his friend has one. Sheikh Amir said, maybe he doesn’t want his family to see it.
May Allah guide all of them whom we reach with the light of his mercy and accept our efforts in the best way. Ameen
Guidance By Distributing Quran Copies and Literature Booklets:
Taking the literature booklets and copies of the Quran shows people’s inner questions without asking anything. Someone is ready to explore Islam directly, and the other one is seeking emotional empathy from God.
One person wants to understand the purpose of life, and another is battling “Does God exist”?
So we distribute 19 copies of the Quran, 9 booklets of Love of God, 15 Life after life, 24 Making sense of God, and 4 The last message.
3 God’s testimony, 1 What the Bible says about Muhammad (S.A.W), and many leaflets.
Come and Join MK Dawah Mission:
I truly appreciate the efforts and the consistency of the MK Dawah team in continuing the mission of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and the command of Allah.
Everyone is welcome to join us, not just experts. What matters is your intentions to serve the ummah and the efforts you made. Yesterday, our brother Saqib joined us to make this mission broader and more impactful. A slave of Allah who wants to serve in his path and make himself a better Muslim.
“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in the best manner.”
