Can you get more reward in dawah from other members of the team? Because every single one shows the best manners and etiquette while educating non-Muslims. This week, some of the MK volunteers showed how to take the lead in seeking reward from Allah SWT.
SubhanAllah, all three teams have members who arrive early to collect materials from Al-Radwah Masjid, set everything up, and prepare the Dawah table. They’re the ones who start the day and then wait for the other members to join.
Sometimes they start outreach by themselves, all alone, knowing someone might not respond immediately. This week, people look so busy and in a rush because of road work in Bletchley.
But subhanAllah, we had several conversations at all 3 dawah locations. A Christian student spoke about how Muslims portray Jesus. A gentleman who was searching for answers to his questions but was not clear about his belief. An atheist who came up with the question, “Why should I believe in Allah”?
Read the article to see how the Milton Keynes Dawah team responds to these difficult objections. How do they explain the Islamic perspective in a way that leaves them willing to take a copy of the Qur’an?
How Muslims Portray Jesus? CMK Dawah Team Discussion With A Christian Student
There was a sister named Naima, a Christian student who came to the library with her friends. We offered her a copy of the Quran. She said, “How do Muslims portray Jesus”? Brother explained to her the honor and status of Jesus in Islam.
He mentioned that Jesus is one of the most beloved and noble Prophets in Islam. Allah mentioned him 25 times in the Quran, more than Prophet Muhammad (SAW). We believe He was born of a virgin and was gifted with many miracles by the Almighty.

But He is not God or the son of God. In Islam, we have just one God, Allah, all alone with His unique attributes. He has no partners or offspring and is only worthy of worship. She then quoted some verses from the Bible and said she believes Jesus is the son of God.
We explained that we believe in the original revelation given to Jesus (pbuh), the Injeel. But that book was not preserved. She insisted it was preserved, so brother shared some facts about the different versions of the Bible and the contradictions between them.
After that, he showed her several chapters about Jesus, including Surah Maryam, Surah Al-Maidah, and Surah Al-Imran. The same two Surahs that led a Nigerian Christian lady to learn more about Jesus and accept the Quran copy. She listened carefully and took a leaflet about Jesus. She said she would research with an open mind.
May Al-Rahman make this research the beginning of her journey toward guidance and steadfastness, illuminate her heart with His Noor, Ameen.
In Bletchley, He Was Searching For Answers About His Belief
What is the concept of the oneness of God, and what is the purpose of His creation?
In Islam, the oneness of God is called Tawhid, a monotheistic concept. It means Allah is absolute, indivisible, and the sole creator of the world.
He is the only sustainer, owner, and controller of the universe. Nothing can happen without his permission. He is all-knowing; even a leaf can’t fall from the tree without His permission. He alone holds the right to be worshipped, without any partner or offspring.

He has not created creation because He feels lonely or because of any deficiency. But so that we witness the signs of his beauty, wisdom, and infinite mercy. The main purpose of human beings and jinn is to worship him.
As Allah mentioned in the Quran:
“I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me.”
Qur’an 51:56
He ordained life and death as a test to see which people do good deeds to earn His pleasure. Unlike angels, we have the free will to choose between wrong and right. We had this conversation with a gentleman who was in his thirties.
He seemed to be searching for answers about his belief, although it was not immediately clear what he believed. A similar experience to Brother Laem, who also wasn’t sure what he believed. So, Brother ran him through the concept of God and why he created everything in this world.
He listened attentively and was genuinely willing to learn. At the end of the conversation, he accepted a leaflet to take with him, Alhamdulillah.
Why Should I Believe In God? Questions From An Atheist In Kingston
The notable conversation was with a man named Bew who described himself as an atheist. The discussion began with a fundamental question. Why should we believe in one God? Why should we believe in Allah?
Bew raised different objections about the amount of injustice, suffering, and pain in the world. He had also visited several Muslim countries and explained that his experience there did not match what he expected.
Brother answered his questions with the help of an example. First, He drew his attention to the countless blessings we have. Our ability to speak, hear, think, and use our hands to experience the world. All these blessings are given by the Lord of heaven, which we mostly do not think of.

According to Islamic faith, we believe in the hereafter. Because of injustice, lack of accountability, suffering, and everything that happens, it reaffirms that the Day of Judgement is needed.
Then, mention the ayah from Surah Az-Zalzalah, in which Allah says;
“So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.”
Qur’an 99:7–8
So, there will be accountability for all these injustices and pain. Then, we gave him another example that Allah has no beginning and no end. Like, every human life has a beginning, and every life eventually reaches its end.
“He is the First and the Last, the Most High and the Most Near. And He has perfect knowledge of all things.”
Qur’an 57:3
Our thinking and knowledge are limited. We cannot comprehend everything or understand the wisdom behind every matter. But Allah’s knowledge is limitless. What lies beyond our understanding is never beyond His knowledge. Where our thinking stops, His plan continues, and He is the Best of Planners.
Basically, he married a Moroccan lady, and she is a Muslim. He believes that the Quran is true. He said, “I mean, out of the book, I think the Quran is the truth”. The same thinking like brother Lynn, who read 10 pages of the Quran and believes it’s true but still has doubts.
We invited him to read the Quran more and to contemplate it. If he has any questions, feel free to come to us every Saturday.
Join MK Dawah & Share The Reward
Sometimes, Dawah starts with just one person. This week’s highlight is Brother Rajhi from the Kingston Dawah team. He set up the table and remained there by himself for around two hours before anyone joined him.
