Dawah isn’t always speaking about Islam. Sometimes, it’s your character, patience, and respect shown throughout the conversations. Not every next person aligns with your faith and beliefs.
They come with their own opinion and judgments, and you have to respect them. In this weekly reflection, our team experiences the same moments. When a couple of atheist sisters don’t believe in any religion but grab a copy of the Quran.
A Christian evangelism group stopped by our dawah stand and left by taking some leaflets. Not every conversation is meant to be fruitful, but one act of goodness can clear their misconceptions.
And it may be their first move towards the light of truth. We just have to fulfill our duty with honesty and sincerity. Because guidance belongs entirely to Al- Hadi.
In CMK, People Who Didn’t Believe in Any Religion Took The Quran
The MK Dawah team had a conversation with two English atheist sisters. They didn’t want to take anything. Because they clearly mentioned that they are against any religion. Our brother continued the conversation with them respectfully, because the Quran is the book for humanity.
They may not accept it as a divine origin or a rulebook like Muslims. But it emphasises core human values such as respect, justice, honesty, helping the poor, love, and observing nature. At one point, something in the discussion caused them to stop and reflect.
Our brother said we have a perfect book for you: The Man with Red Underpants. They started chuckling and said Let me just grab this. They took two copies of the Quran to read. We briefly told them, ‘When you read it, it’ll be right up your alley.
And they are not the first. We have more stories of atheists and non-believers who took the Quran during our CMK outreach. Sometimes Dawah isn’t about directly preaching your message to them. It’s about listening to their perspective, feeling it, and then redirecting with your message.

Clarity About Islam And Christianity
What is Islam about? A monotheistic religion, which means total submission to Allah. He is the only one worthy of worship. No divine creator and supreme being exists except him. Anyone can explore and practice Islam at any time, at any place.
What is the difference between Jesus in Islam and Christianity? Jesus is a prominent figure in both faiths, but their beliefs about him are different. Muslims honor him as a noble Prophet of Allah, and Christians see him as the Son of God.
Because Allah has no offspring, and he is unique in his attributes. Prophets are the chosen and beloved servants of Allah who guided humanity toward the truth.
“They say, ‘Allah has taken a son.’ Glory be to Him! He is Self-Sufficient.”
Quran 10:68
All these questions come from a gentleman named Ben. The night before, he had been talking to someone about the Quran and Christianity. The very next day, he came to our Dawah stand.
Our team spent around 45 minutes speaking with him about Islam. Clarifying all his misconceptions regarding Christianity, God’s revelations, and the Prophets. Each member of the CMK Dawah team joined the conversation throughout to make it more engaging.
Ben took a copy of the Quran and several leaflets that include A Man with Red Underpants and Who’s Allah. He promised that he would return after reading them.
May Allah make this conversation his first step towards the path of steadfastness. May Al–Hadi grant him a clear understanding and guide his heart towards Him. Ameen
Why A Sister Accepted Islam At A Young Age?
A young sister who accepted Islam three months ago. She’s doing her A-levels and accepted Islam because she had a lot of questions. And her Muslim friends answered them. Her journey is a beautiful reminder that every person has their own timeline and queries.
That’s why some people wait before taking shahada, and what brings them to the step of faith. We talked to her to know her struggles as a New Muslim in the UK. Brother Abdullah took her number to connect her to our sister’s circle. So, she can get support through our revert sister mentorship program in Milton Keynes.
A Group Of Christians Shared Their Leaflets In Kingston
This week, Sheikh Abu Tameem joined us during our community outreach, Alhamdullillah. Some Christians came to share their leaflets with us. The first conversation was with one of the ladies, but she couldn’t answer any of our questions.
She kept asking to read the leaflets first, and then she could help us. A few minutes later, one of their Pastors (Ben) approached us very respectfully. We had a detailed discussion with him with reference to the Bible that confirms Jesus isn’t God (according to Jesus words).
But he tried to counter it with the words of Paul, and we made him realise what he was doing. We also had some discussion about the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) marrying many wives. And also the marriage with Our Mother Aisha (R.A).

We helped him understand not to judge by today’s standards, and how this wasn’t faulted back then. Lately, our mother was already engaged before her engagement to the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Then we highlighted the age difference between Mary and Joseph.
And he was shocked and said it’s new to him. We advised him to study and not just rely on hearsay. He left with a Jesus leaflet and one other. This is how MK Dawah Islamically responds to Christian street discussions.
You can see another detailed example of how MK Dawah handles Christian debate at our stall in an earlier session. We told him to come to us again if he has any questions after reading them.
Stand With MK Dawah To Spread Islam
