Milton Keynes Team Engages The Community With Global Dawah Day Kit

Global Dawah Day is coming on the 11th of July 2026. The New World Cup kits from iERA were able to engage many people of every age. We told them they had to score on 10 consecutive attempts. If they win, we will greet them with sweets or a donut.

And if they fail, they have to ask a question and leave by taking a leaflet. The majority of them left after taking several pamphlets to address their questions. A man who stops regularly at our Dawah stall. First time accepting the Quran, just to find mistakes in it.

An elderly man who quietly asks, “Can I meet my brother and mum, who have already passed away in the next life?” How are the human soul and body two different entities?

A great teacher who wants to know if God exists why there’s a lot of suffering in this World? Why does he allow everything to happen to oppressed people? Everyone has different stories, different questions.

But each one is an opportunity to address in the light of Islam. You can also join Milton Keynes’ team in this mission on 11th of July 2026 at Global Dawah Day.

An Unusual Belief System in CMK

A Ghanaian brother named Ismael followed a very distinct belief system. They believe in one God, in the Prophets, including Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and in the Quran. Yet, they also believe a third scripture will come with the Prophet Elijah, as referenced in the Old Testament.

He believed that the Old and New Testaments are corrupted. And that the Quran has been preserved. But still holds on to the Prophesy of Prophet Elijah’s return. All of our brothers tried different approaches to help him understand.

We encouraged him towards Shahada since he already believes in God and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). But he said he believes but doesn’t want to say the Arabic Shahada. He was clearly knowledgeable about different religions.

He took a copy of the Quran to read and interestingly showed the photo of his temple in Ghana. It resembles the structure of the Kabah.

We advised him to sincerely ask Allah for guidance. He had belief and conviction, but not Divine guidance, that softened his heart towards Islam.  May Al-Noor illuminate his heart with His light and grant him the wisdom to recognize the true religion (Islam).

An Atheist Brother Accepts The Quran To Find Mistakes

The second most striking interaction was with Collin, a staunch atheist. He regularly stops at our Dawah stall. Whenever we offered him a Quran, he would point towards the library and say, “More knowledge there than in the Quran”.

He would deny the existence of God. Today accepted a Quran, subhanAllah. He said he would read it to find mistakes. And promised to return after reading. We also gave him the man with the red underpants pamphlet.

Overall, we distributed 11 copies of the Quran and several pamphlets. May Allah grant him understanding and make exploring the Quran a way for him to understand the ultimate truth, Ameen.

If God Exists, Why Does He Allow Suffering? Conversation In Bletchley

The day in Bletchley started with a long conversation with a retired great teacher, Christine. She believed that life ends with death. Then she questioned the existence of God in light of the hardships around the world.

Why did all these things happen? It never made sense to her. Alhamdulillah, we were able to convey the wisdom behind God’s existence. This short period of life is a test to attain infinite life in Jannah.

Hardships do not come to break us, but they are the means to increase our trust and faith in the Almighty.  We also helped her connect the dots between religion, prophets, and God’s revelation to ensure every living soul will receive the guidance of Allah. It’s upon us because we have the free will to choose and live by truth.

Will I Meet My Deceased Family In The Afterlife In Islam

An elderly brother who was in a wheelchair stopped by. He was excited to know that he can still meet his mum and brother who already passed away in the next life. MK Dawah team explained to him that in Islam, people will meet with their loved ones in Jannah.

He also showed interest in exploring more about the soul and body being two different entities. The brothers told him how the soul and body are in partnership. When the soul is breathed into the body, life begins. Death happens when the soul departs from the body.

He was very happy to know that there’s a religion where you can reunite with your loved ones. May Allah SWT guide him towards the path of steadfastness, open his heart, and bless him with the light of Iman. Ameen

How Surah Ikhlas Led Them To Take Quran In Kingston

Who is God? In Islam, God (Allah) is the only creator and the sustainer of the universe. He is indivisible and only worthy of worship. He has no partner and offspring, unique in His attributes.

As Allah SWT mentioned in the Quran:

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

Say, “He is Allah, the One.”

Allah, the Eternal Refuge.

He neither begets nor is born.

And there is none comparable to Him.

Quran 112 (1-4)

This was the topic of discussion with an English gentleman who was into Buddhism. We explained to him who God is in Islam by quoting Surah Ikhlas. He clearly understood everything and left by taking a copy of the Quran. The conversation is much like Surah Maryam and  Surah Aal-e-Imran  which inspire a Christian lady from Nigeria to accept the Quran.

Then there was a lady who was interested in taking the Quran. But she said I will go shopping and will pick up one on the way out. She ended up buying a handheld fan for the brother and also took the Quran copy.
